I opened The Pampered Pet Grooming Salon on October 13, 2000. I was a young girl determined to make an amazing business, but mainly make the dogs of Delaware feel as good as they look! I love coming to work and having the job I do! Every dog that walks through my door walks right into my heart💜 I treat these babies as if they were my own and try to make it a calm loving experience! Dogs will never respond positively to negative behavior! If they are testy or aggressive I do everything in my power to calm them and NOT stress them! A lot of people don’t understand how much harm they are doing. Sometimes a little shhhh shhh shhh and rub on the nose can take them to their happy place! We do NOT use the closed in cage dryers and I really like to NOT kennel them. I have sofas and beds and try to keep them feeling like they are home and calm rather than waiting for their turn in a crate like a business. I have exceptions for those who don’t like others or just scared. I have a suite in the back with pillows and beds to keep them away from the others or we can crate them if you feel better doing so. All dogs are different, hair, size, drying time, temperament and etc. So we can only give an estimate on price until we see the dog. I’ve been doing this for 21 years and I LOVE IT💜💜💜
